Interior Designer

We are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a strong team player to join a dynamic team working on a variety of high profile projects. You should have strong 3D visualisation skills applied in proven interior design projects. You will be assisting in creating innovative, sophisticated and original designs. You will work either to a set brief by the creative director or project manager or as part of a team for an individual client taking on board their needs and requests to deliver a quality product in keeping with the company’s design ethos. You will have a knowledge of FF&E schedules and ID admin, along with excellent free hand drawing skills, knowledge of computer programmes such as AdobePhotoshop, Indesign, AutoCad and the ability to build rapport with suppliers and manufacturers. You will have proven experience of residential and commercial buildings, interior views and furniture. Good communication skills and a team approach to work will ensure success in this role.

Interior Design Internship

Aston Design is offering a motivated and ambitious student an opportunity to work in real-world project settings, fully integrated into design teams, with uniquely weekly learning experiences to support your studies. Our internships challenge students with hands-on practise that strengthens your skills and broadens your perspectives. You should have a passion for design and ideally be in your last year or final semester of an accredited interior design or an architectural school. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be essential in this role. You will need to be able to assist in preparation of drawings, presentation materials and boards, have a good working knowledge of computer programmes such as Photoshop and AutoCAD.
